CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UPDATE and LECTURE PROGRAMMES

Both the Health Professions Council and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists require that Podiatrists (Chiropodists) undertake formal, regular, ongoing, evidenced and reflective continuous professional development (CPD) and clinical update throughout their careers, to maintain their Registration, to assure the public that their practice is safe, legal and effective, and to ensure that all aspects of their professional work is evidence-based (http://www.hpc-uk.org/registrants/cpd/)
Jean has an extensive background of lecturing within higher and post-graduate education, and wide experience of writing and presenting a range of 1-day CPD education programmes for NHS Trusts, Branches of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, and to interested groups throughout the UK
Jean has an extensive portfolio of 5 hour profession-specific update, courses, together with a wide programme of 1 hour and 2 hours short courses available to deliver to Branches, special-interest groups, Trusts etc. CPD-Programmes are flexible, and can be delivered to suit your organizational needs – such as 1 day, half-day or evening courses, with topics mixed and matched to meet your needs. All courses, no matter how short or long, are fully supported with extensive handouts that are supplied to the course organizer for local printing one month before the course due date.
